Gift Acceptance Policy

AsThe PCMA Foundation accepts and reports gifts in three separate methods. Those methods are (1) Current Gifts; (2) Deferred or Planned Gifts; and (3) Total Gifts.

  1. Current Gifts include the face value of gifts actually received and the face value of non-testamentary pledges.
  2. Deferred Gifts include bequests, gifts of life insurance, irrevocable charitable trusts designations, charitable gift annuities, future interests in real estate and pooled income fund gifts.
  3. Total Gifts are the sum of Deferred Gifts and Current Gifts.

The amounts used for recognition of gifts will not affect the recording of gifts by PCMA Foundation for financial reporting purposes. PCMA Foundation records all Foundation gifts in accordance with FASB, IRS, and other Federal and state requirements.
